Chanel Caviar Briefcase before a night on the town in DC

Choosing luggage is half the fun of Traveling

Restaurant Week is one of the best events of the season and an amazing way to boost interest in dining out around the city. It's a brilliant idea, really. This year, I went to DC Coast with a good friend and her colleagues.
Quite a generous chunk of salmon.
Very tasty as well. Corn cooked to perfection. Just the perfect amount of crunch to complement the rich salmon and fresh tomatoes.
Walking to the action
Spotted the restaurant
Hmm...From the outside, this place looks a little 1980s, IMO. Maybe Crocodile Dundee and Walker, Texas Ranger will kick down the front door and fight to the death. And why is "BAR" spelled out above the window? Isn't it a common expectation for a restaurant to have a bar? The green canopy makes the place look outdated. A letter to management is in order. At least the food is good!
Peach and Blackberry Crumble for Dessert
Loved the texture of this dish and it was served warm with perfectly cooked peaches. Not too soft and not too hard.
After the cab ride back downtown. Borders has officially closed. But, there is something very nice coming in its place and I can't wait for construction to be completed. Photos coming soon.
