Restaurant Week is one of the best events of the season and an amazing way to boost interest in dining out around the city. It's a brilliant idea, really. This year, I went to DC Coast with a good friend and her colleagues.
Quite a generous chunk of salmon. |
Very tasty as well. Corn cooked to perfection. Just the perfect amount of crunch to complement the rich salmon and fresh tomatoes. |

Peach and Blackberry Crumble for Dessert |
Loved the texture of this dish and it was served warm with perfectly cooked peaches. Not too soft and not too hard. |
After the cab ride back downtown. Borders has officially closed. But, there is something very nice coming in its place and I can't wait for construction to be completed. Photos coming soon. |
